School Cook needed in the Cardiff area

Mon - Fri 900-1500 £13.47 per hour

MUST HAVE A CURRENT AND IN DATE DBS

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our menu and recipes. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Duties:- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes.- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality- Assist with food preparation tasks.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area- Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during busy periods- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
